For the adventurous guests, it's an ideal for touring the Cowal Peninsula, the Highlands and surrounding areas. Walking, golfing, bowling, fishing, cycling and ferry cruising are also available locally. On the other hand, you can just relax and unwind in our comfortable lounge or in our well laid out garden , both over looking the Clyde. We have an excellent reputation for friendliness, hospitality, a relaxing, homely atmosphere and above all good food (including vegetarian) with a varied menu. It's easy to find us-
......If motoring from the south, use the M6, M74,M73 and then the M8 to Greenock, then to Gourock. From there, there are two ferries operating to Dunoon. Cal-Mac which operates every hour and the Western ferry which operates every half an hour. The alternative route is via Loch Lomond A82 over the Rest and Be Thankful and A815 into Dunoon.

Heilan Mary Mary Campbell died, possibly from a fever contracted when nursing her brother Robert, possibly as a result of premature childbirth, she was buried in the old West Highland Churchyard at Greenock.
